My 2016 baseball tour (part one) moves to Akron and gets “promoted” to double A ball as the Erie SeaWolves face the Akron RubberDucks. One thing I forgot to mention in my last post is that one of the things I look for when planning these games is what promotion the team is holding. With the Crushers on the 15th, it’s “Weiner Wednesday”, with all hot dogs just $1. At the RubberDucks game on the 16th, it’s “Thirsty Thursday”, which means draft beers and fountain sodas are just $1. Don’t worry, I won’t stuff my face or get drunk at either game.
If you’d like to join me at the game, let me know in the comments section below. Minor league games are fun to attend and are very affordable compared to major league teams like the Indians. I’ll also be posting some of Mr photos on social media so be sure to friends and follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Foursquare, and Flickr.
